The MPS-422 is the ultimate solution to the question of how five or seven channels of audio can be monitored where there may be no space to add loudspeakers. It provides monitoring for up to seven channels in a single cabinet that fits around a standard broadcast video monitor.
How does it work? It moves a multi-channel sound-field into a single plane in front of the listener. Near-field, the MPS-422's unique design allows engineers to identify each channel's signal (including the surrounds), even while listening to the full surround mix.
This makes critical quality control monitoring easy at all points in the broadcast /production chain, from on-site location recording to local affiliate monitoring of network transmissions.
Like all M&K Professional monitors, these speakers are tuned to match the acoustical signature of the industry reference -standard MPS-2510P powered monitor, allowing you to have the same sonic signature throughout your facility.
