This 8 port CAT 5E surface mount case includes a metal case and cover, black powder coat finish with stainless steel cover, 8 jacks and two tabs, one on each side to mount unit to the wall if desired.

The housing is very sturdy and also allows easy access via the removable cover. The dimensions are 6", width, X 3 5/8", depth, X 1 3/4", height.

There are easy to follow multi-colored markings to allow for either 568A or 568B wiring schemes, 568B is commonly used for data. The tool that is required to connect the wires to the rear of the panel an industry standard 110 punch down tool, our part number TL231-A.
